Insect protein to reinforce
dog health and support Earth

Proteins are essential.

They are the most important elements of the diet.

In order to stay healthy, humans and their pets must eat high quality protein and nutrients. However livestock farming and fisheries are increasingly putting ecological pressure on the planet. Meat protein production is now becoming unsustainable.

Supplying quality animal protein to sustain a growing population of humans and pets is one of the biggest food and ecologic challenges of the 21st century.

Making an impact

Eat Small was born from a friendship between two women, a Spanish graphic designer and a Canadian veterinarian, who made Berlin their adoptive city.

Both shared a passion for animals and concerns for the future of Earth. The idea of creating a food that would be both healthy and nutritious for dogs and sustainable for the environment came from their common belief that it is possible to change the pessimistic prognosis about climate change and the future of the planet.

Insect protein, one of the most sustainable animal protein available.

One bag of dog food at a time, insect proteins give the possibility to reduce dogs’ ecological footprint.

By feeding our dogs this highly nutritious alternative to meat, which is both ecological and sustainable, we can all contribute to reduce the global need for meat protein and its impacts on the environment.

Eat Small’s delicious dog foods made from insect protein are inspired by our vision of a healthier
and more sustainable world.
