Essential oils, aloe vera, healing earth and mild surfactants give your dog’s coat a soft, groomed appearance while keeping away unwanted external biting parasites. Parasites find the smell of these oils repulsive, while we find them refreshing.
Gema, the co-founder of Eat Small, created this solid shampoo after completing a training in natural cosmetics. She has developed a formula perfectly adapted to the particular pH of the dog’s skin, choosing oils that are particularly effective in keeping external parasites away. The 100% natural ingredients are lovingly hand pressed into a solid, unique piece.
Due to the minimal consumption (approx. 15 – 30 washes depending on the size of the dog) and the antiseptic power of the ingredients, the shampoo is long-lasting.
We have also thought about the environment when packaging our shampoo and deliver it in a pouch made of 100% linen. It is a natural and sustainable material that protects your shampoo between uses.
SAY BYE! TO BITTING PARASITES ON YOUR DOG
Simply wet your dog and moisten the shampoo; gently rub the shampoo on your dog’s coat and distribute all over his body; let it work for a few moments and then rinse well everywhere; let your dog snort or dry excess water with a towel. Enjoy the fresh cleanliness and the shiny fur of your dog. The shampoo is so mild that it is no problem if some of it gets into the eye.
Kaolin, Aloe Vera, Cocamidopropyl betaine, Melia azadirachta seed oil (neem oil), Cymbopogon winteranius herb (Citronella grass), Melaleuca alternifolia leaf oil (tea tree), Origanum vulgare oil (Oregano oil), Lavandula angustifolia flower oil (lavender flower), Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS), Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI).
Kaolin is a healing clay, also called white clay or porcelain clay, because it is a very fine, iron-free rock that resembles chalk. Kaolin gently removes keratinized skin cells from sensitive skin, binds fats and sebum with dirt particles, which are then all rinsed off with water.
Aloe Vera is a well-known medicinal plant with blood circulation activating, moisturizing and refreshing effects on the skin. It also has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and antiviral qualities.
Cocamidopropyl betaine or in English: Coconut fatty acid helps to evenly distribute the shampoo during application and ensures that the haircoat is soft, shiny and easy to comb.
The Neem – Azadirachta indica from its Latin name – is a medicinal plant that has been used in India for thousands of years. The neem oil is pressed from the seeds and is used as a natural insecticide and fungicide. Mites, fleas and even ticks are deterred by its bitter taste.
Cymbopogon winterianus is the Latin name for Citronella grass. Its essential oils, especially citronellol and geraniol, act as a natural protection against mosquitoes and other bitting insects.
Melaleuca alternifolia leaf oil is better known as tea tree oil and is very effective to keep fleas away.
Oregano oil, also known as Oreganum vulgare oil, is a natural antibacterial agent that has traditionally been used for many skin and fungal diseases. It helps to take care of the dog’s skin.
While Lavandula angustifolia flower oil or lavender flower oil smells very pleasant to us, this does not apply to bugs at all. They’d rather run – or fly – away.
Sodium Coco Sulfate (SCS) is an anionic surfactant, which is approved for natural cosmetics (BDIH, ECOCERT…). Cocosulphates are a sustainable, biodegradable and environmentally friendly alternative to the very often used SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) or SLES (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, which are both extracted from fossil oil.
Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate (SCI) is is a mild, anionic surfactant extracted from coconut oil fatty acids. It makes the hair coat easier to comb, healthy, smooth and shinier.
